Jan Krist's Current Projects
"I'm writing for the next CD, and working on the demos here at my home studio. I'm also working on a project with Image, a collaboration between Poets and songwriters. I'm taking a painting class, I have been working in watercolor, but am now trying out oils. I'm in the process of writing a personal mission statement. There are so many times when I get disappointed because a gig falls through or a project proposal fails, and I need a filter to put those kind of things through so that I don't loose sight of what, creatively and spiritually, is most important."
"In addition to this, I continue to work with senior citizens, singing with them and lecturing on artists, their lives and their work. I also continue to write worship music for my church, where I lead worship every Sunday night."
Barnes and Noble stores throughout the Midwest will have a special end-cap display of the new, repackaged version of Curious, which contains a live version of "Curious" and a bonus track, and Love Big, us small. The display will be in over 500 stores in the Midwest for all of March and April."
