Director of Marketing

Image is hiring a director of marketing to strengthen our public stature as an institution committed to exploring the interplay of contemporary art, faith, and mystery. This is a full-time position located in our Seattle office.
The director of marketing will be responsible for spearheading a marketing and communications strategy that harnesses all appropriate tools to increase Image’s visibility and impact. Our ideal candidate will possess big vision and sharp attention to detail. This person will have the experience necessary to provide consistent, cross-platform publicity and support for a suite of Image programs, including our flagship literary journal, a yearly artists’ workshop, a national poetry prize, literary fellowships, and cultural events.
The right person for this job will be passionate about well-crafted sentences, digital design, and ensuring that Image reaches its growth objectives—increased subscribers, website traffic, social media engagement, and program attendance. They enjoy collaborating on creative projects and being part of a energetic, supportive team, a small, dedicated staff that produces a large amount of goodness. The director of marketing has an appreciation for the mission of Image and enjoys supporting it.
