Mentor in Residence

Tania Runyan

 

A poet, teacher, and regular contributor to Good Letters, Tania Runyan will be available to meet with attendees to discuss their creative projects during the 2019 Glen. (Registered attendees will get information about signing up for time with Tania, with those on retreat getting first dibs.) Tania’s own poetry collections include What Will Soon Take Place, Second Sky, and  A Thousand Vessels. Her guides How to Read a Poem and How to Write a Poem are used in classrooms across the country. Her poems have appeared in many publications, including Poetry, Image, Harvard Divinity Bulletin, and Christian Century. Tania was awarded an NEA Literature Fellowship in 2011.
