Bethany McKinney Fox
Dr. Rev. Bethany McKinney Fox is a founding pastor at Beloved Everybody Church, a community collaboratively formed and led by people with and without intellectual disabilities. She is also an adjunct professor of Christian ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary and author of Disability and the Way of Jesus: Holistic Healing in the Gospels and the Church, about how the healing narratives found in the Gospels can constructively guide church communities to be true places of healing in the way of Jesus, particularly for people with disabilities. Bethany earned her PhD in Christian Ethics from Fuller, an MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary, and BA in Philosophy from UCLA (with a minor in Russian Lit). She has worked previously at San Francisco Theological Seminary, First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, and L'Arche Wavecrest. She is married to Michael, a violinist/fiddler, and they live in Los Angeles.
