July 26 – August 1, 2020
St. John’s College
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Situated in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the Glen Workshop is equal parts creative workshop, arts festival, and spiritual retreat. The Glen’s arresting natural environment is contrasted by its casual and inviting crowd of artists, writers, musicians, art appreciators, and spiritual wayfarers of all stripes.
A Week Can Change a Life
At the Glen, daily morning workshops offer artists at all skill levels an opportunity to develop their craft in a wide variety of genres with acclaimed faculty. Likewise, morning seminars offer substantive conversation and engagement with art, mystery, and faith. Afternoons and evenings feature a smorgasbord of readings, field trips, panel conversations, concerts, open mics, and worship services incorporating the arts.

Workshops & Seminars
Classes at the Glen Workshop meet for three hours each morning, for a total of 15 hours of expert instruction and in-depth conversation over the course of the week.
Attendees choose one class for the week, either a workshop or a seminar.
WORKSHOPS are hands-on, craft-based classes in which artists working at all levels can enhance their skills.
SEMINARS are immersive, discussion-based classes that offer both artists and appreciators of art opportunities for personal and critical engagement with beauty, mystery, and faith.
