Marilyn McEntyre


Marilyn McEntyre is the author of several books on language and faith, including What's in a Phrase?: Pausing Where Scripture Gives You Pause (winner of a Christianity Today 2015 book award in spirituality), When Poets Pray, Speaking Peace in a Climate of Conflict, and Word by Word: A Daily Spiritual Practice. Her work explores the connections between spirituality and language. And she believes that imagination, compassion, humility, and a massive paradigm shift are vital to healing the earth and each other.


Charles Jones

Worship Leader

Charles Jones has been playing piano since the age of two. Grateful to parents that knew he was going to be in music he was immersed in music for the rest of this life, Charles is a graduate of the High School for Performing and Visual Artists in Houston, Texas, and has a bachelor's of music degree from the University of Southern California. Charles has traveled the world and played with Jennifer Hudson, Raphael Saadiq, Joss Stone and is currently working with Oscar award nominee Andra Day. Charles has also done work on films being a cast member of the hit Dreamgirls and sang the ending sequence to the movie Bad Moms 2. Charles has worked with artists on The Tonight Show, American Music Awards, Grammy Awards and the Oscar Awards. He also arranged a performance Andra Day’s “Rise Up” for Whoopi Goldberg's birthday on the The View that was nominated for an Emmy Award. He has recorded many videos with ScaryPockets, Family Company, and Vulfpeck. In September he performed his song “Baby I Don’t Know” with Vulfpeck to a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden.
