Artist Statement: I am an interdisciplinary artist native to New England. I am currently quarantining in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I am gratefully confined to a beautiful Victorian home where there is no shortage of interesting objects, color coordination, and Southern sunshine. But it is no Smoky Mountain National Park. Climbing on swing sets and banisters isn’t quite the same as my usual practice of immersing myself in fresh mountain air and embracing a living tree.
