Artist Statement: I live, work, and quarantine in Detroit, Michigan. I create site-specific installations, sculptures, and photography projects, often using found materials and neglected locations. Inspired by subjects ranging from ancient mythologies to current events, my artworks focus on transformation, ephemerality, chance, and the cycles of nature. My meditative practice leads me to frequently work solo in isolated locations so I have been perfecting the Art of Social Distancing for approximately twenty-five years.
