Artist Statement: I have been committed and steadfast in the pursuit of the redemptive possibilities of art in all mediums including painting, sculpture, meditative spaces, and photography. During this time of COVID-19, I have been documenting my day-to-day life at home, sheltering in place, with two series of photography—New Ways of Seeing and Shadows and Reflections.
My work has been exhibited in over seventy solo museum exhibitions, including: Tobi Kahn: Metamorphoses; Avoda: Objects of the Spirit; Sky & Water; Tobi Kahn: Sacred Spaces of the 21st Century; and Anointed Time: Sculptures and Ceremonial Objects by Tobi Kahn.
My selected collections have been featured at: Guggenheim Museum; Houston Museum of Fine Art; The Phillips Collection; Jewish Museum, NY; The Yale University Art Gallery; The Albright Knox; The 9/11 Memorial Museum; and the Minneapolis Museum of Fine Art.
